help- did a tanabe DF210 drop now have noise in rear
This weekend we dropped my box with tanabe df210 springs i drove 4 hours and now i have a chattering clunking sound coming from the rear. Seems to get worse driving slow with load on the rear. I've read the suggestions on sl.com and used the oem material to place in between the dead coils (box didn't come with any) even disassembled and reassemble to no avail . I think my struts are gone using oem. any suggestion?? will this go away. planning on getting an alignment for the front do you think it would help to do the rear.
Please help

Sounds as if some of your coils are still rubbing together. Check to make sure you have the wrap installed on the right part of the spring, this should be the last two coils of the progressive part of the spring as the coils start spreading apart and then work the wrap up around the first coil of the rest of the spring.
Also, this may sounds stupid but it has happened before, you didn't put the spring in upside down did you? The Progressive section (tightly wound coils) of the spring should be sitting in the base of the torsion beam, closest to the ground.

that's good news - but could you at least mention what fixed it?
just putting in some wrap stuff?
my goldlines like to make clunky rattling noises from bumps at the back, regardless of which way up I put the springs in, or whether or not I put in wrap stuff.
have you done the alignment yet?
my done-at-home alignment measurements appear to indicate that my xA now has about 1/4" toe out up front, and 3/8" toe in at the back. I don't know what it was before I lowered the car. I'm thinking that that's al ittle bit too much toe, but while the fronts are adjustable, the rears have no adjustment - do they?
