Anyone know why a Yakima gutterless roof rack for a '05 XB won't fit on an '06 XB?
I tried to order an '06 Yakima roof rack from rack warehouse and they said that Yakima doesn't make one for the '06 model but that I could get a Thule roof rack.

It will fit. It is the same car with no changes. They probably just haven't entered the '06 in their database.

 

I can't get the towers to work (yakima) on my new xb. Anyone else have this problem?

It was an old set. I traded them in today and got a newer version and it's all good now.

 

I was gonna say, I got all my Yakima stuff from rackwarehouse,.com and it fit perfectly on my 06.

 

There's no differences. yakima is very good at fitting their products, but they don't always seem to lay their website out well. Last time I went there, they only had the xB listed for 03-04 and the tC was the only Scion under 05 but of course we all know there haven't been any sort of changes that would affect the roof rack. Just be sure you get the Q towers and the right clips.
