hey i just got a 2.8mm rear view camera for me xB and i wanted to know if it will fit snugg if i removed the rear whiper... i really dont need it and its annoying when im blasting my subwoofers.. also i wanted to know if i can rig the power in such a way that when i want the camera on i just flip the swich for the rear whiper and the camera would go on insted? (being that there wouldn't be a whiper there anyways)...

will it fit snug? it is not tight, i believe the camera comes with a rubber gasket that will seal up the camera to the hatch.

you can use the wiper wiring to turn the camera on and off. there are only 2 wires there, I think a black/white which is ground and another color which I forgot and that is the 12v wire coming from the wiper switch up front.
I did that on a friends car and I will be doing that when I get my camera.

BTW, which camera did you get? I'm buying the 2.8mm night vision one, it's like $43 + shipping on Ebay.

my friend uses it and he says it's pretty good. He got it from the "Kawalmall" (or something like that) seller on ebay. gonna order mine this week when the rims sell.

I got this one off ebay for like 50bucks it fits nice and has a good color pic.
