I just received the front bB emblem I ordered off ebay, yet am wondering if this is a knockoff. On the real bB emblem, does it fit flush in the little rectangular part on the grill, or does it stick out?

 

i got onw for xmas... the only gripe i had was that the two upper prongs dident hold it in well enuff... that was easily fixed by making the lil bumps on the ends of the prongs bigger with some epoxy!

It sticks out above the stock grille... And it's not metal, it's cheap plastic. The first time I saw one I thought it was a fake copy, but I checked the package and sure enough it came directly from Toyota in Japan.

Without seeing a pic, I can only guess and say that it's probably real.

A real bB emblem should have come in a plastic baggie with a Toyota part number on it, at least new ones do.

I know what you mean nozerider, No, it does not fit perfectly into that little hole...THOUGH, that would be awsome! It should sit into all the grooves though, just like the scion badge does.

 

I've got the cheap plastic one. I'm happy with it....for the price....for now it's cheaper than billet.....and different than stock

 

The real bB emblem is plastic, not aluminum.

 

Does anyone know a place that sells the CF version. I know it's not a real OEM part but I saw some ebay vendors selling CF versions of the emblem but rarely see them these days. I hardly visit this forum so if anyone can shed some light on it.
