30 seconds and GOOGLE. look for "magic touch" or "lafrance ventures" . --- They were fairly popular at SEMA '05

Not available for the xB yet.. Are you aware these things are $400 PER HANDLE? $1600 could get your doors shaved and painted and look better ;P

they're 'available' for any car - but if you're the FIRST, it's about $1000 per door - or if you get 20 people paid first, then you can have the $395 PER door price. They're more of a novelty than anything else. It's A LOT cheaper to just get them actually shaved, if the "touch right here o make it open" thing fascinates ya enough, so what - that's easy enough to integrate

How you doing yellow sub!

Well, they are actually RETAIL $400 a pair, so RETAIL would be around $800 for all 4 doors. If things go right, it could be cheaper, and I love the idea of a 15-30 minute install time.

I was just wondering if anyone had used these in the past.

On their website it says $395 per door, not pair... So $1600, not $800

You would only need 2 (the front 2) doors done.

Screw the rear passengers, there is a reason why they're riding in the back (b/c they suck @ life and don't deserve Magic Touch door handles).

I loathe my rear passengers (except Dampachi).

The only aspect of those door kits I do not like, is that no matter how easily you can color match it to your door it still looks likes you have a color matched sticker where your handle use to be. IMO shaving the handles properly with door poppers is still the best way to go.

But I guess since alot of people are going the easy way out with a world of bolt ons instead of body mods, this is just one more bolt on substitute for custom ..

Cool concept but only worth it for those who actually have the cash and want to impress people at shows or what not.

So, uh... $400 for a solenoid hooked to a capacitance touch/Faraday switch behind a bit of plastic, with a $600 add-on charge if they have to be arsed to make a new vacuum mold. I'm thinking no.

ive seen a lot of problems with door poppers in the long run. the doors warp and then they wont close right. id just leave them the way that they are unless its not a daily driver.
