bBist I think is about $400 plus shipping.

OEM is usually about $500 plus shipping.

My used OEM one is $220 plus shipping.

What OEM Hoods are you looking at?

You can get OEM bBist hood for $365 and thats double sided with rolled edges. One of the best out there! Forget VIS and that stuff.

bBist Vented hood is $415.

PM Fujiz_xB or Squirrel and they can hook ya up if they have any in stock or can get them!

sexyscionlover: forget vis?
Techno R hood - $575 shipped. Weighs around 10lbs, rolled edges. Very high quality.

Very old picture, quality (camera phone) suffers but thats the closest shot i could find that i have of my hood. I took that screen out (no billets anymore if anyone asks me) and without the screen gives it a very clean look.

theres a local xB with VIS A grade and i think it looks like crap. the weaves are not as tight and clean as seibon (sp?) and brands of that caliber. VIS is like the APC brand of carbon fiber in terms of quality from the ones ive seen. (i have a couple friends with civics too that have VIS).

Maybe go with seibon or one like that, but from the one ive seen on an xB, VIS was not good. plus i think that scoop looks crappy and has no flow to it.

all matter of opinion though. dont take it personal, i just really dont like VIS and the quality ive seen.

To each their own, so its cool. But i'd have to say the hoods i've seen from them, are excellent quality. Infact, i've compared mine to a guy with a bbist hood and he said he liked mine better as far as how it looked and quality. Your actually the first to down play vis racing, but everyone has an opinion.

To say they are the APC of cf though, .

Very easy. Just have a friend or parent with you to help line up the hood so it sits properly. If you lived close to me i would help you.

INCREDIBLE hood Rocket! Wonder if I could get someone out there to make me a Silver/White mixed hood. That would look amazing on my PW with the other accents.
