What is the best setup for a Xb to lower it 2"
I am looking to drop the Xb 2", i want to know what is the best handling and riding springs, or springs and shock combo, let me know. People who have pics of their rides let me see them, i want to see if it is worth buying.
thanks
thanks
If you haven't upgraded the shocks, plan to. You can run about 25K to 30K with the Tanabe DF210 or the Tein S-Tech springs on the stock shocks. Not only will the looks improve with the drop, but also the ride is better. I haven't ordered them yet, but will be going with Tanabe myself and have done quite a bit of research on both. Both products are good quality with very minimal sagging over time (from what I've seen and heard).
Most of the people I know run Goldlines. 2" drop and very high quality. Plus they are generally cheaper than Tanabes or Teins.
I've got 15000 miles on my Goldlines and havent had a problem yet.

If you like the look of the Goldlines, but want a smooth ride check into the Progress Springs. I bought the springs and rear sway and absolutley love the ride. Nice and smooth, but corners like its on rails.
i have rs*r springs myself. its a crazy low drop.
if you want a great ride, and a sweet drop do like cbsimonsez said, go with the progress springs. i've rode in his car and its a nice smooth ride, and great stance.
shoot a pm to Lip on here. he's from partshippers.

probably another topic, and I don't mean to hijack, but what shocks are best for a 2" drop, specifically with the df210s? woudl the TRD shocks fit the bill?
also, I dont' really see this as hijacking TOO much, because the OP asked for the best SETUP to get 2", not just the best spring...
Thanks

Tenabe DF 210's work well for the money but..they ride similiar to stock..bit bouncy....the Monroe's will soften it up a bit....if you like stiffer ride Koni or Tokico..I like the Tokico product personally
You also might want to look into Coilovers... Reason being, I Tein S-Techs for a year before getting the struts. I spent $132 for the springs & $520 for Koni Yellow Adjustable Struts. Afterward, I realized for an extra $200 or so, I could get adjustable coilovers (Tein or Progress). Mine rides great, but only the rebound is adjustable... Just a thought.

Why you looking into replacing them already?
