I was thinking about lowering my xB on goldlines. Do I need anything else like a camber kit? Or can I just get it aligned w/ no porblems? I know I could always upgrade my struts but the stockers only have 200 miles on them so Ill just kill those first. Thanks

 

you only need the springs. the goldlines are a good choice. probably the best bang for the buck.

 

If yougot goldlines, Randode How to, then a jack, jack stand some wrenches a rachet and sockets and about 1 hour and it done, no camber kit, no alignment and you will sell the car before the shock struts wear out. be sure to cut your rubber snubber 1". The snubber are on top of the strut and look like a top hat. Thats all you need

Sean, that is a good question. no, cut then 2 inches max, i cut mine 1 1\2 inches helps the ride quite a bit. It is like hard foam, I used a filet knife to cut them. Bill

Lowered mine 2 inches. I cut thr front foam stoper just about a inch... (the bottom rung) Ride is so nice and I dont even bottom out on the deepest bumps!

Look at the tein s-tech springs.

As for hook up let me know when you are intrested in buying and I will pull some strings.

 

You'll also need a torque wrench and the torque specs for all the bolts/nuts.

i dont cut the bumpstops, and have never felt it bottom out.

 

I installed the Tein H series and didnt cut my bump stops either. I have never bottom out. One good thing about the H series, they dont slame your ride to the ground. Dont believe me, take a look at my pics in my sig.
