Default cornering ability

i have the tein stechs on stock shocks and springs with ZR Y rated tires... i take turns pretty hard... it handles alot better than before... but i was just wondeering about how much pressure the front arms and rear wheel assembley can hold before it breaks or bends... i know what my tires can handle but i dont think the car can handle it... i think the car would break before the tires lose traction... the front arms are thin temperd steel and the rear is same... if anyone has any specs of the cornering wieght ability of the car please post it... sounds like a funny thing to ask... but im a cornering guy that loves to hug the turns... thansk for the info

your tires would definitely lose traction before you break something. those parts were made to take a lifetime supply of potholes, body roll transfer is not comparable. i have megans (stiffer than stechs) w/z rateds and i slide all the time. no issues sir.

I'm lowered on S-techs, Stock shocks, Progress rear sway bar, Stainless Steel Brake lines, PowerSlot Rotors, Semi metallic brake pads, and 16x7 Inch rims wrapped in Yokohama AVS ES-100 Z rated tires. I canyon race this every weekend (think Initial-D without the drifting), I can keep up with my friends Civics, Integras, and a GTI. So the suspension can handle it, the straights are another story. Look up Wraith on this site. He road races his echo at Streets of Willow, his car has the same suspension as the xB, But his is way more modified than mine.

This car can take a beating and you have no idea. I race mine all the time here in Puerto Rico and i have never broken a single suspension component on my car and i have shocks, springs and sway bars. Beaufitul ride and handles SWEET!

The xB is just an oversized go cart. The tires will lose traction long before the suspension breaks. Mine stands up to autocrossing and does just fine.

Your first purchase should probably be a rear sway bar. Either the Progress Tech or the TRD is what I would recommend.

If your tires generated that much grip you'd roll over and flip first.

Agree'd, does great with autox on df210s.

I've broken loose a few times around corners in 2nd (automatic, i manually shift on the road course/autox tracks w/ od off, trac off) and no damage done obviously. And when i say broke loose, i dont mean full blown burn out..just to clarify.
