I've been looking high and low for something like this and I've not had any luck. Check this image I've photocropped



What I'm looking for is a set of 15" x 6.5" (or 7") rims like this with a good polished lip. The spokes can either be 5 spoke or 7 spoke but not 6 or 8.

Recommendations or suggestions are more than welcome.

 

hmmm, im not sure if the rota slipstreams are available in a polished lip.... look into it though.

 

Rota Slipstreams do have a polished lip, but no black w/polished lip. I'll have to check around for powder coating options. I think that setup would look slick.

 

or you could just buy the black ones and sand down the wheels and polish them up?

actually, they do have a gunmetal with polished lip. that wouldnt look too different. i had gunmetal wheels on my tiburon and people always thought they were black.

 

May I ask why 15"? The ones in the pic appear to be 17's

ALT has some 15s that are similar on the same website listed above

 

Three reasons:
A) Appease the wife unit
B) Going for ride quality over looks
... and uh...
3) Cost

 

My wife didn't like the idea of 17's at first until she saw that you can get 17" wheels and tires in a package that are not much more than 15". As far as ride quality, if you go with 45 series tires the sidewall height is less than an inch different than the stockers. My new 215/45/17's ride just as nice as the stockers do.
