Scion 17" pirelli tire and enkei wheel package
Well I purchased my car about 6 months ago with the 17" pirelli tire and enkei wheels and since then I have had to replace both of my front tires. Once from a pot hole in penn. on my way back to florida and then again just today. I drove my car to the pet store to pick up some supplies and went to drive away and my tire was flat. I didnt even run over a bump. just completely flat. And of course the key to my locks had broken in penn. So I was stuck having to drive home on a flat after I tried to put air in the tire and it wouldnt even inflate enough to be noticed. After calling 10 tire shops and a scion dealership, I was finally able to locate a 205/40 ZR17. No place seems to stocks them. I would have though the scion dealerships would have atleast one instock. but anyways I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with pirelli tires not holding up? Oh and not to mention I only have 10,000 miles on the car.

Crazy, discount tire recomends 215/40 or 205/45. 205/40 should be a little undersized, like less than 1%. 215/40 is a popular size and something like 0.2% larger than stock (for standard xbs) maybe look into some down the road if you want.
