I want a big lip on my rim
i've been looking around seeing what people got what are some good rims with big lips and also staggered....19x9 in the rear and 19x8.5 in front also....would i need spacers....longer studs....stuff like that
Exactly which brand and style wheels are you looking for?
Here is why I ask. If you are looking at a quality billet or forged two piece wheel your only choices will likely be 19x8 and 19x10 in a reverse lip. Which will actually look better in a staggered fitment. Much more noticeable. That is, if you can get the 10s to fit in the rear.
If you really want a 19x8.5 and 19x9 combo you are going to have to pay big bucks for a set of three piece forged wheels. If that is really what you want to do, more power to you. I just want to make sure your aware of what you are asking.

Get ready to at least spend a couple grand on rims. that's 2000 dollars. and that's about the cheapest you'll find. I would reccomend buying new for a really simple fact. Used rims like these will have a beat up lip and rim bead. I can vouch for that with my own experience. Deep dish rims are not gonna need long studs or spacers. The whole point of deep dish wheels is to use offsets to flush a wheel. Granted there is a rise in custom offset rims that don't have a lip at all but still have a little bow to the spokes of the wheel. That is a cool look as well as a trained eye will notice that quickly and others will scratch their heads trying to figure out why the wheel looks flush but has no spacers or lip. HAve fun in your quest to get staggered rims.
JDMJim is right. And at $2000 you would be getting off cheap. You might be able to get some cast center Work wheels for that price, but not much else. Not in 19s. You will easily spend an additional thousand or more for some quality billet or forged wheels.
8.5 is way too wide up front with anything remotely resembling stock fenders.
unless of course you do not ever plan on lowering.
or one heck of some hipari. like 175 series
