I just got back from the Philly Auto Show at the Convention Center. I'd recommend anyone living in the area to check it out. Scion's represented very well there. Anyone who owns one should drop by the tuner section with their key b/c you'll get a free Scion gift.

There was so many people checking out the Scions in the main area. Then in the tuner section they had the moded TC, XA, and XB. The TC had a wide body kit and a bunch of other mods as well as the cool air intake and I believe the supercharger as well. I asked the one gentleman to pop the hood.

I'll be posting pics from this show as well as the moded TC soon. They also had Mazdas and a few tuned '06 Civic Si's which were nice but not quite as impressive as the moded TC. Also the Si's didn't seem to garnish as much attention as the TC, XA and XB.

It doesn't seem Honda is really trying to put a mark in the market since they didn't go all out and allow visitors to get an up close and indepth view of their vehicles like what Scion did with the TCs. I'm guessing they're banking on the Honda name brand to sell rather than focusing on pushing the vehicles. The other good thing is Scion had a nice spot in the tuner section right next to all the import mods like Lamborghini, Mazda, and Acura as well as where the autograph area is. While Honda was sitting in the other boring room with the American mods like the Focus, CObalt, and Corvette.

Im going on tuesday or wednesday, so thanks for getting me even more hyped to go. I was hoping to hear if scion was represented well this year so thanks for that too.

dude scion lacked.... the tuner salon was sweet the scion section was horrible. Nothign was happening like two xbs 1 tc 1 xa??? the tuner salon rocked alot of free gear but come on we need great reps the people in the scion section couldnt even answer your questions love the tuner salon not the scion display

it's good to see some people around the area went (or are going) to the Philly Auto Show.
scion is most definitely repped really well like TempleOwl stated earlier.
unfortunately, there was nobody around the "Tuner Salon" area so i couldn't check under the hood for most vehicles.

i went on Friday, Feb 3 (Media Day) and got a lot of video footage and pics of everything if anybody is interested.

 

What'd they give out this year, at detroit they were giving out ipod cases or something?

You should have asked the guy to pop the hood of the TC in the tuner salon. He did that for me. However, it didn't have too much under it since they wanted to stick with Scion parts. I just wanted to see what the Scion Cool Air Intake looks like since I'm planning on getting one installed when it's available.

They also did give the keychains and ipod jackets, which is totally useless.

As far as the pics go I'm having trouble with it. Maybe the other guy can post it. I also got in as media since I was taking photos for my paper.

Were all of the things listed above given away when you showed them your key? I was thinking about not going to the show, but that stuff in itself sounds like enough to spend the 10 bucks for the admission.

 

All i got was a backpack and a beanie. Some other people had those jerseys on, but i didn't care for it anyway. The backpacks really nice and helps carry around all the car brochures. GO TO BOTH BOOTHS (tuner salon one and scion one) Tuner salon they make you register for the scion mailing list and i got the backpack there. They had a really nice 2 tone xb with topline body kit, the tc and xa were also nice.

The Xb that was there is the one on the bottom from SEMA, all of the scions at the tuner salon are in the scion magazine they give out
