I know most people run 215/45/17 on ther box , but is there any one with pics with 205/40/17 tires , if so please post them , Thanks

 

Mine are 205s

 

These are 215/40WR17, they are about as close as you can get to the height of the stock wheels. I got the wheels before my xB has come in, so no pics on the vehicle yet.

IMO 205/40/17's look too small and they are actually a little shorter so your speedo would read higher. Even though the 215's are more go with them. Plus you will have added pothole cushion with the taller sidewall.

They are low. They are cut stockers.

 

this is my old box sitting 205/40/17, 2" goldline drop. the speedo was not affected enough to notice.

Here are mine... although I no longer have the wheels on my xB:

 

My first wheels had that size on them... for me not enough sidewall, also too much of the wheel well was visible.



You might want to look at 215/45/17, which I'm running now. More comfortable, beefier looking, fills up the well more IMO.
