Default spacers

What is the largest spacers you can use on the xB and be safe? Currently I have 215/35/18 +10 TO +42offset wheels.

I would like to move these out wider. My purpose is because I would like to go with a wide body kit of some sort eventually and would like to keep my current wheels if at all possible. Im not sure if they can be moved out far enough to look ok with a wide body or not.

If you really want to go wide body, sell your current wheels. You are going to have to get something that is available with custom offsets. Your current wheels would look ridiculous pushed out with a wide body kit. Even if you could get it done "safely."

Look into Work, I-Forged, J-Line, etc.

What offset would go well with a widebody and fit on a xB? Wheels are kind of foreign to me. I don't know much about them. Also why go custom. Aren't there plenty of other wheels out there.

Is it possible to find a place that could modify my existing wheels. Change the offset of them perhaps?

It depends on what wheels you have, but it is not likely that they can modify them to work. Chances are you are running a cast wheel that was originally designed to tuck on a Honda.

Every wide body kit is different, so after you get the kit you will need to take measurements. Post up here what you find then, and I am sure you will get tons of answers as to what offset to run. And you will need to get a custom set of wheels because very few companies are out there making wheels for a 4x100 lug pattern in zero and negative offsets.

I will tell you that chances are you will be running either a set of 9" or 10" wheels to look right with the body kit.
