Default Has anyone else experianced this?

I have Axis 19" mod 7 wheels with TRD lowering springs on my auto 05 xB. I have recently started (it has 15,000 miles on it) to feel it "drift" when i turn. It feels like the wheel is coming off the lugs or something, but I checked them and it doesn't seem to be a problem. It's been doing this for about a week and it's not too bad, so i checked the air pressure(37 lbs on driver 36.5 on passenger -- btw, what air pressure shuold i have?) and it seems fine, at least it is where it has always been and i check it regularly. i was wondering first off, of those of you who have these wheels have you experianced the same problem? I mean, is the wheel heavy enough to ruin something? or is it possible that it is rubbing up against something and messing that up? i have another car(not scion) that i had the front inner tie rod replaced and the feeling when it "drifts" is similar. I fear that the wheels have done something and that I might have to have it replaced . . .

the other thing is, has anyone else with this size wheel seen a dramatic reduction in MPG with them installed? I drive a little heavy and was gettting about 29-31 hwy with my 15" alloys from the factory and about 27 or so in the city, but i am getting like 21-24 on the highway with these installed!! any advice, experiance or suggestions would be appreciated!

thanks for the input, but even if they are messing up the tie rods or whatever is going on, i am still going to run them . . . i'll just keep replacing tie rods, lol.

Only thing I can think of for drifting like that is maybe a camber problem? Are you getting irregular wear on the tires? Stabbing in the dark to try to help.

I appreciate the idea, but I don't think that is a problem. The tires are worn properly, but it may be that the problem has only recently surfaced . . .

Try putting back the 15's and see if it makes any difference. Just my idea of elimination process. Good luck.
