Default Some questions about rims and lowering please help im new.

Hello, I just ordered a XB. I dont know to much about all of this wheel spacers and offset stuff I have been reading about. If anyone would mind explaining I would love it. Let's see I am wanting to put 18-19 in rims on my xb and im thinking of 2in lowering. First off can I just buy lowering springs or do I need struts also? Second off if I get 18 or 19 do I need any mods so that they will fit with a 2 in drop? Any help would be great. One more thing I havent seen anyone on these sights with Spinners is that possible for the xb thanks. :D

congrats on your car! your questions have been pretty much covered in this forum. you can find offset info in the "corner cravers" section. scan that area and you'll find tons of info.

typical size tires for 18's are 215/35/18, and you will be fine with a 2 inch drop. one thing to note is that when you do lower the car, depending on what brand spring you use, the front will be higher than the rear. some brands are finding this out and compensating.

good luck!
