What I know is that the 1ton is the cheapest spacer shims you could get for your $$$$. I could be wrong.

As far as washers being the spacers??? HMmm..

Here's the problem you get into with spacers. offset Wheel bearing load not good!!. anyway get the OTG rear shim spacers they move the whole hub assembly. Also I wouldn't use washers. Plus the OTG's are 10mm shims (3/8") but on the inside no excess bearing load. and depending on your wheel offset you can run a 5mm (3/16") spacer in addition and try to flush up your rim some more. But I would atleast run the OTG spacer shims http;//www.onetongarage.com the best $70 bucks you'll spend.

cheers

Those?

as in the spacer shims http://onetongarage.com/products/rea...him/index.html (rear only)

or the wheel spacers http://onetongarage.com/products/whe...cer/index.html (front/rear)

wheel spacers for front shouldn't have to run them however I've seen guys run 5mm spacers in front. Rear I would start with the spacer shims see how it looks if you want to and have room to push out a bit more do a 5mm but I wouldn't do any more than that.

BTW I am in no way responsible for any potential problems that may come about as a result of these mods. Use your best judgment and do your home work before you do anything. These are mods I've seen and have done but the long term affects have yet to be determined (sounds like a drug commercial disclaimer doesn't it)

hope this helps

peace

Nice wheels! I have a set of RGR's on my IS300.

As for the rear spacers...I would go with the One Ton Garage spacers. I have them on my box right now. They should do the trick in pushing out the rears. If you are happy with how "flush" your front wheels are to the fender, the rears should have about the same "flushness" if you are running the same offset in both front and rear.

Van's a very good guy, and I'd rather pay the money for the spacers than mess around with washers. It looks like you're spending your money on good parts...I wouldn't pinch pennies on items so closely related to the suspension/wheels...safety first!

I've been running on the shims for over a year now and no problems what-so-ever.

Hope this helps...and I too am not responsible for my $0.02.
