Default Continental Exreme Contact tires?

Anyone have any experience with these tires? I'm looking at getting a set or P205/40R - 17's and some Enkei RSF-2 wheels from Americas tire. They seem to have gotten decent reviews and have a good treadwear rating. I have a fairly long daily commute and think going up to 18's would be too harsh a ride.

Any thoughts/ideas?

I have these tires in a 215/35/18 on my xB and am quite pleased with them, great all season tire. I'm in the Northeast and I've used them in the snow and rain and am quite pleased at their performance -- a nice balance of dry grip and bad weather functionality. They are also pretty quiet. Can't comment on the ride comfort because I don't think a 35 series tire exists that'll give you a plush ride, although you'll be a little better off than I am since you're going for a 40 series.
