So I was cleaning my car after work last night, and I thought about painting my wheels. I have the upgraded 8 (7?) spoke Scion wheels. Colors were running through my head and I've settled on a few different choices. Either match the car by painting them BSP, painting them in a gunmetal, or maybe painting them Camo mica.

Personally, I wouldn't paint them. But if I had to, it would be BSP. if you want a black look, take the covers off and run JDM. =D

I don't have covers. They are the upgraded OEM wheels.

I actually paint wheels for a living and I own a BSP xB. My advice is definitely don't do gunmetal. Gunmetal has got a a lot of brown in it when you compare it to Black Sand Pearl. Use your imagination- it'll be kind of ugly. Black Sand Pearl will be a bit pricey to buy and has so much flake in it that unless it's done by a pro with experience in that sort of thing, it won't look right either. My recommendation is to stay with a color that contrasts the body.

 

Contrast is the key word.
