I just purchased a set of tires from tire rack and they wanted me to go with 215/35/40 but I wanted a little more side wall to help with ride, so I went with the 215/40/18. tires and I was wondering if I would have any rubbing issues? I am only going with the TEIN H Tech springs which will lower the front about 1.1 and the back about 0.9 and the rim is only 18x7. Let me know if you think I will have any issuses with rubbing running a 215/40/18?

 

It will depend on the offset of your wheels, but I believe there are several people running mild drops with 215/40/18 tires successfully.

 

just like he said, there are a few people with 215/40/18 with no probs.
But the 215/35/40 that they recommend would be HUGE!
i dont know anyone who successfully put 40's on the xB
