im curious if progress is better or hotchkis is better

Better and best are relative terms. It all depends on what you want to get out of a suspension, and how much you want to spend to do it.

That being said, I tend to hear more good thing about Progress on this site than Hotchkis relative to the xB. Not to say that one is better than the other, as I have no experience with either.

I have progress springs and their rear sway bar, the only thing I don't like about the springs is the color.

They're both good products so there really isn't a "better" spring. I like the Hotchkis springs personally.

ooh i like them, i want to get a set of springs/shocks but dont want a BRIGHT red or some other odd color. Just about anything will clash with the Envy Green, in a perfect world i would get flat black. Is there any systems out there with black springs/shocks or coilovers?

I have a complete Hotchkis kit with trd struts and shocks, I like there springs and the sway bars, it all helped out a lot
