Default Tein H Tech Springs W/ Pics

So i dropped my box like it was hot, I was tired of the wheel gap and 4x4 look. Wasn't bad at all, followed the steps on Tech Forum write up and was easy as pie. Dont know how many people want to put Tein H Tech's on there xB , but these pics will give you a good idea what it might look like dropped on 17's. I use mine as a daily driver and a family mover so i couldn't get a ridiculous drop or i would scrape everything, but i hope you like the pics(before and after).

After

Much nicer... gives a clean, even wheel gap that looks a lot better.

The ride aint bad at all, a little better than stock, just scared to go over any bumps, because of how low my exhaust hangs. But i give it an A++.

I used the H-Techs too, but they seem lower than yours, especially in the front. I will try to get some pics but does Tein have a quality control problem?

I love my H-Techs. It will get a little lower after driving, at least mine did.

My H-Techs dropped my box about an inch and a half after about two weeks. And they helped smooth out the ride. The best of both worlds!

Yours looks good.

tein h techs are the perfect drop IMO S-Techs and DF's look too low. I love em on my xA.. the handling is a lot more sporty w/ em too.

looking good Billy. I'm really surprised your old lady is letting you mod the xB so much. is she saving it up so you have to pimp the PT?

To those with the H techs. Do you have strut bars to reduce sway. If not is the sway increased or decrease when the H's are on compared to stock.

Cant honestly say i know the answer to that one, maybe you should start a new thread on that subject to get an answer.

I did notice a bit more body roll. Nothing to drastic. I don't know if this statement is correct, but if you have a lower spring rate (more body roll) and add a strut bar, I'm not sure that would actually improve the body roll factor.....being that you still have the same spring rate. Does that make sense?

Strut bars on xB's don't really do anything, sine the firewall is so close to the strut towers.

Try adding a rear sway bar.

Oh, and I have h-techs too, love the drop.
