I'm rolling on steelies w/o wheel covers (old skool :D ) I' ve discovered that the front hub is rusted.
This is from an '03 Echo. See #1. How do I get rid of this rust? The rear ones are the same but not as bad. Do I need to rust proof the hub and steelies where they meet? Thanks.

Also, what do you use to make black wheels shine?

no need to paint the hubs but it would look good when painted

 

I have the same problem. When I borrowed my friends wheels for a show, I noticed that the rotors were all rusted....and there is a ____load on the front ones. I have stock wheels but I run the hubcaps since they are so hardkore.
