I know this comes down to personal opinion, but I was wondering why some of you chose 17's over 18's or 18's over 17's. I have mixed opinions about them both. I have a silver streak xA with TRD springs.
Here's my thoughts so far. 18's look awesome, they are very close to flush on the outside with a standard offset, but I am nervous about potholes. 17's look much better than my current 15's but not as good as 18's. However, i won't have to worry as much about potholes.
This is my problem. Anyone have an opinion to weigh in on. You all have helped me out a lot. Just want to pick your brains some more. Thanks in advance.

I would get 19s if I wanted to get rim flush to the sidewall. For more comfort and performance, 17is a better selection since it has more sidewall for cushioning, and it's less heavier (You can always go more smaller like 15s and 16s)
I have 17x7.5 on 215/45/17 tires. It has a slightly taller sizing and flushes very nicely with a good drop.
