Coilovers?
What exactly are coilovers? It sounds like, from reading some of you guys' posts, that they are adjustable? Is that true. Like I can ride at a certain height all during the work week and during the weekend if I wanted to go to a show, I can lower the box?
If that's the case, how does it work. How hard and how much time does it take to lower? How much do they run and do you need lowering springs WITH the coilovers?
Sorry for sounding so ignorant, but please let me know.
Thanks

Coilovers are basically a suspension setup using a adjustable perch to lower or raise ride height. Most coilover setups are a replacement for the stock shocks and springs. For xA/xB's, the front shock will have an adjustable perch, the rears will have an independant one.
Regular coilovers run around 800. A good set would run around 1000~

Here ya go>>>>>>>>
Fronts

Rears

The rears are not true "coilovers". These suspensions are ride height adjustable at the min. If you spend the big bucks you can have damper adjustments, camber adjustments and more. The reason for them besides the match of spring to shock, is the ultimate in adjustability of the ride/handling. Not to mention the "bling" factor.
Peace!
