Default heeelp

so i got my lowering spring s(tein s.tech) installed about 2months ago and recently i have been hearing thumps in the front when i hit any elevated surfaces at any speed faster than 5mph.



is the the shocks that need to be replaced or is the squeak of teh springs cuz i forgot the place the whatcha ma call it in the front
what could be the problem and any resolutions?

Check the big nut on the strut (under the dust cover). Happened to me when I installed my Tein's too. It just comes loose after a bit.

ya the driver side nut was loose, made it tight and lose the thump sounds thankss

Or check to see if the spring is seated right

Yep, mine just did it today. Got a full turn out of that dr side nut. Tightened in real good now.

Thank you for starting the thread, saved me from buying all new shocks!!! I started hearing the same noise on my passenger front side today and COULD NOT figure out what the hell was loose, i cheked EVERYTHING!!! Headlights, the spring itself, the brakes, Finally read this and

Did you guys do this by hand or with air tools? lol my air gun puts down 1k ftlbs and a couple yanks of the trigger, I don't see mine coming loose by itself ever
