At least it's not like the Explorer Sport. They could have shortened the wheeelbase and made it a two door.

I honestly don't like how Toyota throws around the "Sport" word so much. . . for instance with the Corolla S. . . nothing sporty about it.

But 9/10 drivers won't care anyway and Toyota knows that. . . so I guess they know what they are doing.

 

haha I don't see how some chrome and leather makes it "Sport" edition. Usually sport would mean there's some other upgrades that make it sportier.

 

but then again.. a sporty SUV? racing stripes? 432hp? lol

 

I wonder how much that plastic chrome will make the price go up by...

 

I meant sportier as maybe better off-road capability, but it's still a Highlander. Don't think most buyers will go off-roading with it.

 

Im wifes parents have a Highlander and I have to say this car rides wonderful....dash is tacky looking but the over all feel of the car is great.....I think its alittle pricy for what you get but....a must buy as used......and I dont even like SUV's

 

those chrome wheels make it look like something an NBA player would drive.......

All it needs now is some "Presidential Limited Sport Special Edition" badges and maybe some pinstriping

The thing will be a success, just think of who buys the Highlander. Really, just think of how happy Grandma is when she pulls up in her new "sport" Highlander. Don't get me wrong, the vehicle is wonderful, but for 30 grand+, give me the FJ.

Wait til the 07 model comes out in 6 months with a complete makeover... I was ____ed when they did that to me 20 years ago when I bought a 1985 accord.
Though it was a good car that I kept for 14 years.
