Does anyone know if Konig center caps are interchangable. I really don't feel like paying $35 for one center cap for my Imagines when I can pay $30 for a full set of a different Konig cap that looks nearly identical. Can anyone help? I posted this in the tC forum and didn't get a reply in 5 days

 

As far as I know, they are if they are the same wheel. Different wheels have smaller or larger center bores even if they are made by the same company. You may want to contact Konig just to make sure.

 

I've sent a couple emails and never got a reply, I figured I would ask here to see first before I spent the $ on a new center cap. Blah, sucks they are so expensive. Thanks - atleast somebody could help

 

Yes, a friend of mine has different cap in the center of his Konig rims.

 

ooo any idea what kind he has? or could you please ask him what rims he has and which center caps he has in them?

Your best bet is an actual phone call to Konig. They use multiple center bores and different style caps. If I am not mistaken only certain styles are interchangeable with each other. You will want to tell them what wheel you have and for what car, as well as what center caps for what wheel you are wanting to use. It might also help if you know what car the donor center caps were originally meant for.

I emailed Konig and they said that absolutely no rims can use a different rims center caps. Well, we know that isn't true because I know people who have different center caps on their rims than the original ones. I was going to just buy a new set of center caps off of konigs website, different than my stock ones.
