Anyone care to post their experiences with lift problems at the local garage ?
Front clerance of less than 5" would seem to make using a lift a challange.

 

mine has no problem they just need to be careful

I've had DaA BOX on a couple of racks wit no problems.Just go slow.If you are not sure you can always lay a short board in front of the rack.Same deal goes with a jack,park the car up on a board an you are all set.

 

A contact lift is all i can seem to work with

 

drive on lifts i have no problems but the 4 point lifts i have had problems with 2

Just hit some switches and let the Hydraulics bounce er onto the lift : P

 

Hotchkis is close to 2" after settling.

No probs here. For personal use, a low profile floor jack is required and even it is a tight fit.

 

Is lowering the car worth it? Pros/Cons

 

if you live in the snowbelt forget it . ihave a 2' drop and i'm looking for a new bumper..

 

Mine is dropped on the Tanabe DF-210's and I have never had a problem. Like mentioned before...as long as they are careful.

 

drive over a piece of wood or something to lift the car a lil higher. that's what i always did in my old acura.
