Default front strut tower bar

i searched ebay and found alot of these strut bars and they seem relatively cheap. for example, this one is selling for less than $10.00 and the dealer wants over $150.00 for it.

is this any good or just a waste of money? sounds too good but you never know ...

do you want looks or functionality? i ordered the one from ebay knowing that it was not as good as most others. the mounting plates were blue(the one pictured was black), and the bar was not polished, one end does not adjust. after i painted the mounting plates and stripped and polished the bar, i am happy with my $30 bar. if u want a functional one, go ahead and spend the money for quality

actually, ill have to say you are wrong about the adjustability of the ebay strut bar. it is fully adjustable, you just have to set it right, mines is centered b/c i adjusted both sides before i put it on.. of course the quality if not as good but you notice a small difference. im happy w/ it and if it breaks, it only costs $40. hell, you can even say that it is the scion fx strut bar to make it sound better . they are the same thing.

i figured it was too good to be true. if it did break, i am afraid the broken parts might hit the hood or for goodness sake damage the engine ....
