I don't mean to direct this to you exactly .. but what makes you think you can find this mod for under 1,000 installed ?

These kits average 700 - 1000 depending on the vehicle, no kit is truly bolt on because you have electrical work to contend with.

As someone who does real custom work day to day, I wouldn't give my expertise away. Why ? Because no doubt if I were to give my work away you as joe consumer would not just go away, you'd become uber critic because of the shabby work that was done.

People charge what they charge often to give you the best possible work they can produce. So by bargain shopping as you are, all you are asking for is a world of hurt to later flame the individual for trying to do you a favor.

Instead of demanding for cheap work, call around and ask why they charge what they charge, then base your decision on the benefits. If you can't afford it, then welcome to the real world. Some mods were not meant to be for everyone and those that do want them will have to pay to play.

Or last but not least, do it yourself. Those of us that have the priviledge of charging others now started by getting angry at posts like these and decided to become thier own experts.

Again this is not directed to you directly, just those who feel every mod is avail for $130.00

LSD's look great!!
Having said that, I would NEVER have them.
I sat in a MR2 Spyder with them and here are my personal beefs with LSD's.

They were WAY too heavy!! I don't mean too heavy to lift but to close. Sitting in the car and closing the doors was impossible. I had to actually step one foot back out of the car and wrench my back just to close them. (on the positive side they went up awesomely.)

Also from the outside there were numerous dents in the top of the door/window sill where the owner had to push the door down to close it. (He traded it in because of back problems by the way.)

Also in the door jamb there were many dents/paint missing from trying to close the door when it wasn't lined up completely.

To top all that off the door doesn't get out of the way totally so getting in & out is like a crazy game of limbo. (I know it's a small gripe, but it'd get old fast; for me, anyway.)

That's my two cents.

Well my personal opinion, is there awesome! on an xB, . . . . I got some, and installed them last week, they are easy to open, and they are VERY EASY TO CLOSE . . . well mine are anyway, and to tell you the truth, I got the entire thing for NOT CHEAP, hahaha.... Got them for about $1700,00 INSTALLED, so buddy, they aint gonna come any cheaper.. and mine were bolt-on, and they were THEEEEEE HARDEST THING TO PUT ON, lol... but they work AWESOME!!! . . . . its all worth it after there installed... I should'ev gotten the 90 degree one, so it'll go up more, but stupid me, got the regular i dont know 30 degree or however much degrees the regular ones are, lol.... so yeah, but its still easy, and the door closes perfectly, the mechanic lined the door up AWESOMELY! . . lol, and I am now the only one in my town that has them, so I get LOTS of looks, and it looks great also, if you got projector headlights, looks MEAN, lol... anyway thats what I got to say, and the only best places that sell lambo doors are www.verticaldoors.com and thats about it, haha
