....GLOW RINGS for HEADLIGHTS....
I was surfing on Scion Life and I saw a cool post about these GLOW RINGS that glow for 45 minitues after you turn off your headlights. No wiring, just put these around your bulb and they work. I saw a picture of a set for $5.99 i think. I searched, and I searched and I could not find this post, now that I am ready to hunt down this product. I even searched google with no relavent results.
Does anyone know what post had that GLOW RING product?

Only prob with them is that they tend to want to fall into the headlight assy and rest on the bulb. Not worth the worry of burning out a bulb in my book. I'm sure you could rig something up to keep it from happening...anybody else? BTW, they have them at Advanced Auto...

Yeah, i did this a few months ago. It might have been mine.
I got mine at Autozone next to the APC headlights. I just put em on backwards and theyve been on since november and havent fallen off.

Just go to an Autozone or PepBoys or any place that sells that NEO glow stuff, the fake lookin "JDM" stuff.

Install tips:
Pull to unplug the three pronged headlight connector.
Remove the black rubber seal thing from the back of the headlight assemby. Pull the two tabs out (pull tward the rear of the car).
Unclip the hinged metal clip that holds in the bulb/filiment.
Remove the bulb/filement. Do not touch the glass part of the bulb/fillement.
Slide the GLOWRING around the glass, onto the shoulder of the bulb/fillement.
Pull the GLOWRING over the shoulder all the way around.
Re-install bulb/filement, metal clip, rubber gasket and lastly the three pronged connector.
The rings GLOW for about 45 minutes after the headlights are turned off.
Sunlight also powers these rings to glow.
Photos follow, but the best picture of thier effect is above from 'I_don't_Know'.

These will NOT fall off. I did hear a story about a man who had glowrings. He upgraded to HID's that ran hotter than stock bulbs and the glow rings melted.
If you run stock bulbs, you will be fine with these fancy GLOWRINGS.

Sun Co. Japan is the originator of the glow rings. I bought mine for about $10 with shipping. You really don't have much to lose for $10. They look pretty cool, but they on stay glowing for a few minutes.
The ring is made of rubber and so it stays "tied" around the base of the bulb.
