15x8, +18mm offset in the front?
Hey all, considering purchasing a set of 15x8s... but the ones I'm looking at only come in an 18mm offset...
Just wondering if these would be okay in the front without having to mess with the fenders?
I know there are those who are running some 15x8s with 0 offset but I'm sure they're rubbing (front and rear I would imagine) ... just wanted to know if anybody was running anything similar to an 18 offset...
Anyway, any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks much.

from what i understand 15x8 +18 should put you fairly flush with no problem. stankubrick andd the other fitment Gods on this site would be able to tell you for sure. i asked them about 15x8's for my car and they recommended +17 out of all the offsets they offered. +5 if i wanted to camber haha.

all around if you have the one ton garage hub spacers like i do. if not then 15x8 +7-ish is needed. im sure youve seen the 15x8 +0 wheels tho, they dont really stick out much, but there is rubbing over bumps from what im told.

i think they look really nice but to be honest i'm really feeling those borbet As... just wish they came 15x8, not 16x9...
i COULD be conservative and get the 16x7.5s +20mm but i don't know.
i feel like i'd kick myself for not getting the 16x9s +15
decisions decisions!
16x9 +30 would put you as close to flush as you can POSSIBLY get up front. im talking right to the edge of the fender flare on our fenders. the back you would need a OTG hub spacer to make it even or stagger to about +20

There's a box with a set of 16x9 borbets on this site (are they owned by stankubrick now?) so it's definitely possible...
We have the same taste in wheels.... have you looked at the Schmidt ModernLine and SpaceLines in 15 and 16's? Those might work for ya.

I did look at those other ones and they're great, too... I guess it's just narrowing it down to what I want and "will these offsets and sizes work?" !!!
sweet, i hear you...
that's what i was hoping for... flat caps!
by the looks of it 16x9 is out of the question without modification on those As because the offset is 15
the modern lines come in a 25 offset... damn!

If you're after the low and flush look as seen in all those Euro pics, then don't be afraid to roll your fenders. It's just about the only way to fit truly flush wheels and get the right look your after.
I was afraid to modify my fenders at first, so I went with a semi-conservative: 17x8 +25 and a just 2" drop. I still didn't achieve the look I envisioned in my head. In the end, I just ended up going lower and wider, and finally rolled my fenders.
Just go all the way, and you'll be much more satisfied.

I am tempted to run 16x9 +15 all around but I know I can't do it without rolling the fenders...
With you talking about "semi-conservative" that's exactly the method I'm trying to go for right now... even though it might not be the one I do want... it seems that might be the direction I'm headed... I guess we'll see...
But let me ask one more question... I'm thinking about running staggered
16x7.5 +20 up front and 16x9 + 15 in the rear...
what size tires???
195/50/16 up front and 215/45/16 in the rear? I would imagine running 45s all around (or even 40) may be ideal but I don't know how much quality of a ride I'm sacrificing - and an even more technical question - how far off will be my speedo be???
Argh...
