Default HELP. Installing H-Techs

Just want to make sure im doing this right. When installing the rear springs that fat end (extra coils) goes up top. Thanks for the help in advance.

The coils that get closer to each other are installed facing upwards.

Thanks. Now im working on the front. Im trying to loosen up the big 17mm nut that holds the spring down on the strut. When I loosen it, it just spins the push rod and it doesnt seem like it is really getting any looser. Any hints on how to get it loose
