Does anyone know if any of these grills on ebay and at the various parts vendors connect directly to the existing fog light wiring in the xb? I noticed wiring and a plug zip-tied to my headlight wiring earlier when I was replacing my headlights and assumed that this was the one that would have been used for OEM fogs if I had them (I don't).

 

Hey OC, The zip tied plug is for the ones in the stock bumper, I am sure some way you could plug it to the grill one with a litttle modification.

Hey how's it going John, I'm up here in Tustin but I'm down at T-Street and Riviera to surf once in a while. San Clemente kicks ___!

I'm hoping I can use that wiring with aftermarket fogs as I am not particularly fond of the stock ones.

 

Hey, I live right at the Riveira District off Ola Vista, and of course T-street is just a blink up the road, what ever you do don't cut into the harness, try to find something that is plug and play or wire it seperatly, Next time I am up on Redhill I'll wave at the xb's.

If you use the stock harness and modify it... how do you power the other fogs on? Where's the switch? Or do they automatically come on when headlights are on?

 

Some don't come with fogs. But if they were to, they come on when the headlights are turned on. But there's a little DIY to get the fogs to come on when the parking lights are turned on as well.

 

the xb is prewired for fogs right?
