as of right now i just have a carraige bolt where the wiper used to be. about how much do you guys figure it would be to get rid of that hole and the little washer nozzle on the top of the hatch? let me know!

I have been in the body work industry for a little over a year, and I have worked at two shops, one that charged $40.00 per estimate, and one that doesn't charge for estimates. So to say that quotes are free would be false. Not trying to be a dick, but I would hate for him to have to drive to a shop and then find out they charge.

But anyway, I write estimates, and we did one about two months ago, on a BCP. After everything, which was about 4 hours of labor, and about 3 hours of paint, it cost the guy a little over $650.00

Came out perfect too.

 

Oops, my fault. *Most* quotes are free. Honestly, I have never heard of a shop charging, and to me it would seem that doing so may drive away business, but then again I am not a body shop owner.

Well, you get what you pay for. It would probably cost less at a shop like Maaco.
