Anyone paint there wipers? Anyone see any issues with painting the wipers. I haven't really looked at the material they are made of to see if the paint will hold to it or not.

 

They are steel. You should be able to prime and paint them.

 

Cool deal. I might use some adhesive promoter to be on the safe side. I know some metals have trouble with holding paint but if they are steeel then it shouldn't be a prob.

 

Ok one last question. How do I get those damn wipers off. I took off the screw that held tem on but they don't seem to pull off

 

umm... think ya just gotta use little more elbow grease... take the screw off at the base near wiper cowel (under a cap) then kinda twist back and forth and pull away at same time.... its kind of a presure fit along with screw i believe

also for painting.. may want to rough up the surface a bit... either sandpaper or stealwool to clean them off/get better paint adhesion

 

Ill try some more elbow grease. I felt I was pulling pretty hard but we shall see.
