I know that its probably ideal to re-paint the door jambs etc..... have any of you skipped that part and wish you didn't?

 

Alot of work but the end result is worth it, turns out so much nicer than factory.

Wouldn't take much to improve the factory paint. Thats basically my issue at this point. I do a lot of highway driving and it shows.

That definetly looks labor intensive..... which obviously translates into you better have $$$. Great pic... thanks.

 

hey i paid a nice price for my paint job and mny door jams were nv painted it still looks great though

 

Painting door jams is of course a personal decision. If you plan to do car shows, it's a must. Otherwise, most people will see your car with doors closed anyways.

well my car was BOP now its brown, so i opted to get my jambs done .

I don't do shows or anything like that. never even been to a meet.
The xB is the first new car I have ever owned... I wasn't even going to do anything but rims.... came across this site and well...... now my eyes are to big for my wallet.
