I have a 2005 XB and I haven't had any problems with it yet except that recently my drivers side door is extremley squeaky when I open and close it. I put some WD40 on it hoping it would help, but the squeak is still there and louder than ever.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't this a warranty type issue? You need to make sure nothing is tweaked.........

 

Baaaaad place for WD40.

Depending on what's squeaking it could require anything from white lithium grease for the door check, RuGlyde or silicone lube for the rubber, or extreme pressure oil for the hinges, to lube it right.

Ol' Yeller's right, though, the dealer should be able to fix that right up.

(...and they'll pro'lly just spray everything with WD40... )

 

Well today I just noticed this too, I have it on my rear hatch and my gas door, they squeek really bad like they forgot the greese.

 

And nothing worse then a GF who likes open the door just right so it moans and creeks real loud.
