Default Carbon Fiber engine cover, but need some info...

Alright, I found this carbon fiber engine cover made by a company department of IPT Motorsports called TrueMold, but I can't find any listing of the actual company online, just stores selling their other pieces. If anyone can help out with where to find these I'd greatly appreciate it. The SEMA coverage over at Overboost was pretty good, but not a whole lot of Scion mention other than LJ's xA and a couple of pictures of xBs. Anyway, any help y'all can provide about his company's distribution would be greatly appreciated, as their website doesn't seem to offer too much about the new part either..

TrueMold is not what's growing on the three-week old Chinese food you mistakenly left in the back of fridge. It's a line of carbon fiber products that IPT Motorsports launched at last year's SEMA. This year they were back with at SEMA and brought a few of their latest offerings from the Velocity One product line. The craftsmanship of the carbon fiber engine covers for the Scion, 350Z, Supra and IS300 was nothing short of meticulous. They looked like replicas of the stock counterparts, but only in carbon fiber that had weaves tighter than waterproof Navajo basket.

my buddy at RAZO is supposed to let me know when they are available for sale. He told me he would keep me posted. Not ready for US sale yet. He didn't tell me the name of the company, I will ask him and post it. :D

Hey i was just pointing out to people that your was not real carbon fiber believe or not some people don't know .

so calm down i was just pointing something out

mine cost 280.00 and im not sure if it is worthy but it is the real deal and it will not catch fire or loose its shine turn yellow etc........

it has zero to do with weight you cant just put a wet lamiante part on your car it will burn and ruin your engine. there is a thermoset resin on the part that is very IMPORTANT !!!

In the next few monthes you will be seeing alot of literture about IPT and why it is important to watch what you put on make sure it is the real thing thermoset resin etc......

keep a eye out in Super Street or Import Tuner and overboost.com we are helping them with there scion project

and it is the only one out there

So who made yours if it's been out for awhile and do you drive it all the time? No melting or catching on fire?

hey IPT chill man. We are not here to say any negative comments, besides some of us can't afford real carbon fiber. And bBteds is all the way from Hong Kong first of its kind here in america. So I do belive that it does deserve props.

And as far as causing fire. Do you really belive carbon fiber in our motors will cause fire? mmm...well I think we are only pushing 108 HP, just enough to stay warm enough for the heater. :D

So I am still up in the air about your product now. Do you have relation to the kids at gymboree? Just chill man, we are here to chat and share mods.
