Default Couple of quick Spring install questions......

When installing the rear springs , which way do they go. I"ve seen two different install guides and they say to do if different ways. Do the bigger coils go on the top or bottom? I have Tein S-techs if it makes a difference. And one more questions, when I was installing my front springs I must have been in a hurry but I forgot to cut my bump stops like the instructions said too. Is this something that must be done or will they be ok if I don't? Thanks for any help it is appreciated.

Mine said to install with the closer coils on the bottom.

I did install mine without cutting the bump stops, but found my error and took everything back off and cut them.

I have Hotchkis.

cutting the bump stop will allow strut to have a longer travel so yes take them off and cut them. as for the rear spring it's gonna be the same compression either ways. the only thing is that you have to make sure it fits on the bottom groove and the top rubber piece

My H-techs had writting on them, to let you know what was up and down. I had the same question when i did mine and looked at the spring and saw the writting. I would hope the S's have the same thing.
