Default New front bumper??? which one looks right w/o the whole kit?

This is actually user Matt_Moore on txboxdrivers machine (sorry).

Heres the quick lowdown, I got in a wreck, the other guys fault, etc.

Now, I need to find a front bumper (not a lip) of my choice to replace my stock one.

Here are is my criteria PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out :

1. not scrape; I am on S-Techs (2" drop) on stock shocks)

2. looks good on the xB without the rest of the kit (I know some only look good with the entire kit)

3. can be ordered on line fairly quickly (availability)

I like the Fabulous, but it looks like it would scrape, the Geraid only look sright to me with the whole kit, and the Spirits DEFINTELY looks like a "scraper"

Please just give me the maker and name of the kit (a link is always welcome too).

THANKS ALL.

Matt Moore

I can't think of any full bumper replacments that would flow with the stock side skirts and rear bumper.....not to mention the height issue. good luck with the search though

Actually, there is one, it's on the Partshipper's xB but it's a one off. They modded the stock USDM bumper (I think).

Okay, I'm back on my machine.

Yeah, most that I've seen don't look right without the whole kit.

The problem is the body shop can only order the part that was damaged (they have the budget already from the insurance company).

Unfortuately with the budget they were given, they can't buy an entire kit (unless I can find a good kit for $500) without skimping out on the rest of the parts they need to perform ALL the repairs.

Thanks for the suggestions though! Keep'em coming!

these are pretty pricey but:
speed tourer: http://www.myautofashion.com/sptoaekit.html
street billet: http://www.myautofashion.com/bistaekit.html (not entirely sure if it fits an xB though)
hope this helps a little.

why not get the bumper you want now and the get the side and rear later on...or get a stock bumper and put a new lip on it.

Unfortunately, my funds for will be severely limited as I am purchasing my first house in a few weeks. So pretty much unless I keep getting into accidents, I really can't spend too much on my xB for a little while. I just don't want to drive around for 2+ years with an out of place looking front bumper.

I think I can work my budget to get the KenStyle lip kit from bbIST ($500), since the body shop lists the OEM lower front "spoiler" or lip for $341, I'll just have to make a few adjustments other places (like getting a OEM c/f hood instead of a Seibon or a Vis).

Thanks all!

i would call up scion sport tuning and get the M2Motoring front urethane kenstyle lip and buy the skirts and rear lip in fiberglass.
