TRD vs. Koni shocks for the xA?
I'm looking to replace the stock shocks on my xA. I have Motegi 17s & installed the Gold-Line coil springs about 5 months ago (this is my only suspension mod to date). I've compared the TRD w/ the Koni Sport & am looking for the opinions of users of both types. I know the yellow Koni will look good w/ the yellow Gold-Line springs but I'm more concerned about getting performance & longevity from the upgrade. I'm a fairly aggressive driver as well.
I'm looking to stiffy the ride & I want something ajustable as well.
If anyone can recommend another brand...

Really it depends on what you want to spend. The TRD shock & struts are great for handling and still ride pretty good. If you're really looking for something adjustable then the Koni's are probably your best bet. They're a good company and make good products. I know people who have run Koni Struts and TRD struts. No one has ever said anything bad about either. If you decide on the TRD's let me know.

What should I be expecting to pay for these two?
Do these look to be about average price...

That's not a bad price for the Koni's. Most cars are in the $600 range for those. I took a look at the TRD shocks on the link you gave me. That's a really old part # they have listed there it's been changed twice. I have 1 set of shocks under a PT901 part # I can sell for the same price if you are interested.
