Default How do I get THIS:

I want an xB with fenders just like this. How do I get it when I can't find a kit online and toyotoa's websites don't offer it?

So I'd have to take it to some place that works on cars, after I actually BUY the xB, then show them a picture of what I want them to do?

Doubt you will find any run-of-the-mill body shop to do something like that. Try http://www.erebunicorp.com/ I think they offer a sponsorship program if they decide to make a kit like that, you could have it custom designed and be the first car to have the kit at a fairly decent price.

That is the Pioneer / Five Axis car, it is set up with a turntable system in the back that extends. That is a custom one off kit that is not produced.

Thanks. I saw your body kit post. I like it, but the side fenders are left unchanged. I need an xB mixed with xA look around the rear fenders really.

i like how they made the roof line look chopped but if you look hard enough it looks like they just raised up the door panels

kinda cool though if they had a kit that did that

Refer to the link I posted

" the crew chopped four inches out of the roof lowering the overall ceiling height. As a result of the modifications, all of the glass had to be re-manufactured with Five Axis glass-forming equipment."

So, any other ideas? Do I just buy an xB and take it to some "chop shop" and pay out the butt?

If your thinking is: "I'll just buy an xB and take it to some shop and PRESTO, one-of-a-kind kit". It aint gonna happen.

Your gonna have to drop a ton a cash to get any car to look that trick. That car was created using some of the most high-tech equipment and talent out there.

Thanks guys.
I don't care about the paint job or chopped roof or what not. I only want changed fenders. Now to go sulk. I've decided not to buy an xB because I can't mod the fenders to my liking, and I don't want hydroplaning issues when it rains. I also decided not to buy a tC because of the sucky MPG it gets. I think I'll just go be a nerd and buy a piece of crap Yaris. I suck. *SULK*

Why not the xB widebody kit ??? It is made of fiberglass so anyone who does fiberglass work for a living can mod them to your liking & you get a widebody out of the deal. Or you can just have a glass guy make you fenders. Don't sulk, mod !

If there is something you want & they don't make it, then have it made.

Anything is possible if you have the time & money.

Uhhmm.... OK.

The logic of "since I can't buy part X for this car, I won't buy it" escapes me.

You buy a car because you like THE CAR- modding it with parts is the icing on the cake.
