Default HELP ME! (my wheels came in) With a different offset!

So I was supposed to receive +40mm offset but I received +42mm offset!

WTF?!?! Why do wheel people always F up?!

So now I don't know what the hell to do. Are they gonna still fit? (I don't want to do anything ghetto like shaving my car or anything) I just want them to go in perfectly and not rub against anything.

They are 15x6.5 +42mm

Thanks, any help will be appreciated.

yes they'll fit, you just need spacers to not make them look sunk in.

that is less then 1/16 of an inch, you probably wont even notice the difference.

No, he said NOT sunk in. The 42 offset will actually bring the wheels 2mm closer to the center of the car. The spacers will push the wheels toward the outside of the xB.

oh yeah, my bad. Yeah, I'd like them to not look sunk in. Personally I think the stock ones look sunk in.

What spacers are good?

Get the OTG 10mm shims. They are easy to install and will keep you from rubbing. I have 42mm on a 18 and had no problems without the spacers but like the look of having them.

i am running 15x6.5 wheels with a +45 offset and 205/55 tires. with OTG 10mm shims in the rear and 5mm wheel spacers in the front, i have absolutely no rubbing issues.

the lower the offset the more they go into the center of the car, lower offsets push them out... hope that helps
