Default 4 to 5 lug conversion for the xB/bB

I have seen pictures of 5lug bBs in Japan! How and from what car are they getting the lug pattern from? What would it take seriously to do that because I am so interested! 5x114.3!
Anybody?

Thanks

You can use what is sometimes referred to in Japan as PCD changers to convert from 4 to 5 lugs... but the thing is, you will usually have to go from 4x100, to 5x100 because one of the original stud holes is reused. All methods of converting to 5 lug via adapters also add anywhere from 20mm or more of offset due to the thickness of the adapter... so you either have to run kinda higher offset wheels (well, this isn't as big of a problem in the US where people are already running wheels with offsets about 20mm too high in most cases) or flares to accomodate...

i did some research on this a while back... a celica hub conversion will not work but the new corolla one might... if anyone is willing to dish out a few hundred bucks it can be done the right way for daily driving w/ out any type of spacers.

I'm assuming the 5 bolt pattern bB is the All Wheel Drive bBx. But why the hell do you want a 5 bolt pattern? Unless the rims you really want comes that way, or you own a Honda then you go ITR or CTR brake upgrade for braggin rights.

its simply for people who want more options for their wheel setup...most companies that do nice offset wheels usually tend to make them more for 5 lug cars than 4X100 cars...the 5 lug cars r usually the more luxury rides so custom offsets r made more often for those =)
