I'm planning on getting the Willwood Big Brake conversion in the future and I was wondering if I could move the old front discs to the rear. Thanks in advance.

you probably could, but you wouldnt have an emergency brake. Plus, it would look stupid. The wilwood are like what, a 13 inch rotor. The stock one in puny and would look lame.

 

But it would be in the back-it would look a lot less lame than a stock drum, not to mention it would offer better braking performance.. Are you sure I'd lose my E-brake? I kinda need it to park my 5-speed.

 

The front brakes have no provision for a parking brake and I doubt if they would bolt up. I would bet at the very least you will need to fabricate a mount for the caliper.

Some rear disk brake systems use a lever on the caliper to manually actuate it which requires a special caliper designed for rear axle applications, some use a set of small brake shoes inside the rotor "hat" to hold it when the parking brake is applied.
