Default H&R Race Springs **PICS** 56k? Get cable noob.

Alrighty then. I went from Tein H-techs:

(there's more gap than you can see in that pic)

And went to H&R Race springs, which have an advertised drop of 2.0F 1.8"R

I used the sound deadener on my h-techs as a donor.

Rear drop (before settling)

Front drop (before settling)

And WOW do I NEED shims! I'll be ordering some 15mm H&R Trac+ spacers from NAMotorsports.net soon

Mini-review:

Compared to stock, and Tein H-techs, these baby's handle. Body roll is basically eliminated, and I can take sharp corners quickly now, without thrashing my passenger about.

I love the drop. I'll see how much lower it will go (if at all) in the upcoming weeks.

Oh, btw, I'm on 16x7 with a 37 offset and running 205/50 rubber.

Nice Gap. Accolades.
One suggestion, install MONROE 5987 rear shocks, you are still on the stock shocks!
Have you read about these? Every one says they are great, I agree and I ride more smoothly.
Good shot of the amber fogs, I might do that as well.
What are you doing with your H-Tecks? Don't let them sit there rolling around your garage. Sell them to me. I am ready for a 1 inch drop. That is as low as I dare go.

PM me to unload your used and setteled H-TECH's.

Ehh, I'm iffy about Monroe Sensatracs, I'm going for handling > comfort. I might go with Koni Yellow's eventually.

Details on the fog's: Luminics Bulbs JDM Yellow bulb w/ Rockblocker's yellow fog light overlay.

Oh, and PM sent.

Unfortunately H&R does not provide us with spring rates because they do not want their competition to have the info.

Thank you for the write up, I'm glad you are happy with the springs!

Remember to use your customer appreciation coupon when placing the order for the wheel spacers.

All I know is that the spring rates are definetly higher than stock, higher than h-techs, and higher than Tanabe DF210's.

And what is the customer appreciation cupon? I might have just looked passed it, and went right to the springs lol.

Looks sweet. Maybe one day I'll dare to go lower but our roads here can be good one day and a giant hole or crack in the road the next.

I hear you there, but thankfully, alot of the bumpy roads here are fixed or in the process of being smoothed out.

btw. I just shipped your springs. You should've gotten an email.
