Default Lip or NO Lip ?

I'm deciding between these rims....let me know your opinions....

Nezart Spoke 2

Emotion CR Kai

Nezart pros:
2" lip they look kinda similar to Meister S1 2pc (which I really want, but can't afford to buy new)
Nezart cons:
Not exactly the perfect width and offset I would really like.

Emotion pros:
Haven't seen anyone rock this style on their xB yet and the offset is perfect!
Emotion cons:
Gunmetal is not my ideal color choice (I can't afford the WMC chromes)

I can't find a pic of Emotions on an xB, but I used the Kenstyle bB for reference. Even though these aren't Emotions, I think the look would be similar. Actually, the Emotions would be way more flush to the fenders I think....

I would get the nezarts since they have a nice lip. As for the emotions the 17x8 +25 might stick out a little in the front but the back will be just right. I am running 17x8 +30 Volk GT-U. The front is nice and flush but the rear could use another 7-10 mm to be flush so I got some of vans spacer shims. I would have done a staggered setup but they don't make 17x9 so I got them all the same size so I could atleast rotate my tires. Here is a pic of my install without spacer shims installed yet in the rear hopefully I can get to it this weekend.

Your setup look great. What size tires did you use? 215/40/17?

As for the Emotions sticking out, I actually like that look (but not too far out). Plus, the wider width and lower offset, the better chance of getting some kind of dish (inward curve of spokes) which I think would look rad.

Whatever wheels I get, it looks like Van's spacer shims are a must!

I like the emotions too. Why don't you get those and have somebody powder coat them for you? That way you can get whatever color you want.

The emotiones has way too many ricy letters. Unless those are just removeable clear adhesives.

I would also go with the Nezarts. I like the glossy black finish, nice lip as well

ive always thought that wheels with a fat lip looked dope, and those nezarts are sick. i'd love to put some of those probably 15s on my ride someday..

The work emotions only look good at a near 0 offset, where you get the concave spoke action going on.

I say get the Nezarts.

But the trick is to have ONE of your rear lips bigger than BOTH of other peoples rear lips!

Yeah, I have seen RSXs and WRXs on EMotions with like +40-50 offset, and I think they look like ___. The best look I have seen was on a Skyline (17x9 +17)....it had plenty of dish going on. Now I am worried 17x8 +25 won't have much dish. :?

As for the Nezarts, I think the +35 just won't cut it.

Looks like I'm getting neither!...I'm just gonna save up for what I really wanted in the first place....Work Meister s1 2pc or SSR Professor Sp1

thanks for the opinions.......
